Chester County Futures, Inc. is a mentoring, scholarship
and academic enrichment program for low-income Chester County,
PA, public high school students grades 9 through 12, with
follow-up services on through their college years. More

To participate in the Futures Program, students
must be enrolled in Kennett Consolidated, Phoenixville Area,
Coatesville Area, or Oxford Area school districts. Other requirements
include meeting low-income
guidelines and nomination/recommendation by a school guidance
counselor or a teacher. CCF

Personalizing the Kindness of Strangers
Futures' high school students
sometimes ask about the people who so generously support
them. Who are they? Why do they care about me? Little wonder
they are curious and awed to learn that their fate matters
to people they have never met. To satisfy their curiosity
and personalize the kindness of strangers, we launched our
new Sponsor a Scholar Program last summer. Find
