CHESTER COUNTY FUTURES ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT
PROGRAM

Core Curriculum: All CCF students follow a core
curriculum covering relevant topics, such as team building,
communications, and valuable life skills.
Individualized
Grade-Level Enrichment Services: In
addition to Chester County Futures’ core curriculum,
students are introduced to grade-level curriculum topics
which focus on specific issues and challenges particular
to 9th, 10th 11th or 12th grade.
Samples of Student Profiles
with Customized Services:
- Students attend monthly in-school meetings and bi-weekly
after school programs.
- Students participate in a Literacy Program, where the
focus is on reading and comprehension in order to better
prepare them to take the SAT college admission test.
Special events such as college visits, community service
projects, and workshops are held throughout the year.
- All CCF students are held accountable for their grades,
school attendance and CCF program participation. CCF Program
Coordinators arrange for extra tutoring or other one-to-one
help for any student who experiences academic difficulties.
- All CCF students receive individual counseling on course
selection, college decisions and financial aid.
In addition, CCF Program Coordinators work closely with
school district guidance counselors, to ensure that each
student is taking the correct classes geared to college entry;
and receiving the advocacy and support they need to succeed
in high school.
