Community Partnerships Committee

Members of the Community Partnership Team will work closely with the Director of Development and Executive Director to increase awareness for Chester County Futures within our community. The team will use strategies to cultivate engagement with businesses, organizations and individuals located in Chester County to establish financial sustainability for our organization.

The Team achieves these objectives by meeting monthly to identify and discuss strategy on prospects; to assist in the timely cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of identified prospects and donors; and to ensure fundraising goals are achieved.  Community Partnerships Team members focus mainly on individual and corporate supporters by encouraging them to support the Annual Fund and to sponsor programs and special events.

​Program Team

The Program Committee is responsible for providing strategic and tactical guidance to Chester County Futures program staff members who are charged with running current programs, program assessment, and new program development initiatives.  Committee members are familiar with the approaches and operations of the organization’s programs, and provide valuable insights that ensure programs align with Chester County Futures mission and vision for the future.

Desired Expertise:

• Experience with middle, high school and/or college education
• Experience with teens and youth
• Experience with curriculum development
• Experience/understanding of various communities served

Special Events Teams

Chester County Futures fundraising events are powered by volunteer committees.

Golf classic

Held annually at Applebrook Golf Club, this event is the largest fundraiser of the year for Chester County Futures. The committee will meet once a month for six months to drive the marketing and attendance of the event.

strikes for futures ​Bowling Event 

Held annually at The Palace Bowling Center in Downingtown, PA, this family friendly event is priced to sell out and does every year. The committee is instrumental in securing basket raffle items, driving attendance and helping with set up of the event. The committee meets three times a year.

all in for futures Casino night

Held annually at the Downingtown Country Club, this fun evening allows attendees to play in a poker tournament and take a chance on numerous casino games. The committee will meet once a month for six months to drive the marketing and attendance of the event.
