The annual CCF College Expo brings together students from five partner high schools and representatives from 43 colleges, universities, and organizations to explore pathways beyond high school.
Chester County Futures (CCF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering students to succeed in school and beyond, hosted its annual College Expo on September 30, 2026, at Villanova University. The event welcomed 127 students in grades 9–12 from five partner high schools, providing them with opportunities to explore postsecondary options, connect with admissions representatives, and experience college campus life firsthand.
Students from Kennett High School, Oxford Area High School, Octorara Area Junior/Senior High School, Coatesville Area Senior High School, and Phoenixville Area High School attended the event, which featured representatives from 43 colleges, universities, and organizations. Through conversations with admissions professionals, students gained valuable insight into academic programs, admissions requirements, and the opportunities available after graduation.
In addition to connecting with college representatives, students participated in an admissions tour of Villanova University's campus, offering a firsthand look at the college experience. Students also enjoyed lunch on campus, giving them the opportunity to experience another aspect of daily college life while envisioning their own futures in higher education.
The College Expo reflects Chester County Futures' ongoing commitment to helping students plan, prepare, and pursue their goals after high school. Through its four-year high school program, CCF provides students with college preparation, career exploration, skill-building opportunities, mentorship, and resources to help them navigate their paths toward postsecondary success.
“Experiences like the College Expo help students see new possibilities for their futures and give them the confidence and information to take the next step,” said Mary Williams, Director of Community Engagement at Chester County Futures. “By connecting students directly with college representatives and providing opportunities to explore a campus, we help make the college planning process more accessible and empower students to envision themselves succeeding beyond high school.”
Chester County Futures extends its gratitude to Villanova University for hosting the event, its five partner high schools for their continued support, and all the college and organization representatives who took the time to engage with students and share their expertise.
