Chester County Futures Celebrates Class of 2025 Graduates at Downingtown Country Club

DOWNINGTOWN, PA, May 2025 — Chester County Futures (CCF) marked a significant milestone with the Graduation Celebration for the Class of 2025 on May 22nd at the Downingtown Country Club. The event honored graduating high school seniors who have successfully completed CCF's after-school Passport Program, an initiative designed to empower students through opportunities and mentorship.

"This gathering is not merely a celebration of graduation; it's a testament to the resilience and promise that our students embody," said Katie Duffus, Executive Director of Chester County Futures. "Each graduate represents a narrative of perseverance—one where challenges were met with courage and aspirations turned into tangible achievements."
 
The ceremony brought together graduates' families, CCF board members, as well as sponsors and supporters from across the community. For the first time, the organization welcomed it’s program alumni to participate in the event. Among them were the graduating college class of 2025, and guest speaker Nancy Ayllon-Ramirez, Esq., a CCF alumna from the Kennett High School cohort, who delivered words of encouragement to the graduating class and reminded them that anything is possible when you dream big, stay strong during
tough times, and create a life full of purpose and joy.

"Our mission extends beyond academics; it's about crafting pathways toward futures filled with possibilities," said Duffus. "Tonight serves not only as recognition but also as a launching pad for these young adults stepping boldly into their next chapters—be it college, trade schools or other post-secondary pursuits.”
