Future STEM Leaders: Chester County Futures Students Explore Careers at Globus Medical

AUDUBON, PA – Chester County Futures (CCF), in collaboration with Globus Medical, recently provided a transformative learning experience for students eager to explore careers in the STEM field. On April 4, 2025, CCF students visited Globus's Audubon office for an immersive introduction into musculoskeletal technology and its applications within the medical sector.

During their visit, students engaged firsthand with the products designed, developed and manufactured by Globus Medical and participated in a practical workshop detailing device implantation procedures using synthetic bones. These activities offered invaluable insights into potential career paths while fostering critical thinking skills essential for future success.

"Facilitating direct interaction between our youth and industry leaders plants the seeds of ambition that can redefine their futures," stated Katie Duffus, Executive Director of Chester County Futures. "By bridging classroom knowledge with real-world application, we are cultivating tomorrow's pioneers."

This partnership highlights CCF's commitment to equipping students from diverse backgrounds with resources necessary for academic achievement and beyond. Through strategic alliances like this one with Globus Medical—an innovator known globally for advancing patient care through precision engineering—students gain exposure vital to informed career decision-making processes.

Such experiences underscore CCF’s mission to support and connect students with opportunities, resources and mentorship to empower success in school and post-secondary life.
