Chester County Futures Launches Alumni Network Initiative to Strengthen Lifelong Connections and Opportunities
Chester County Futures (CCF) is proud to announce the launch of its new Alumni Network initiative, a strategic effort designed to connect past, present, and future graduates of the organization’s college and career success program. The initiative will create meaningful opportunities for alumni to stay engaged, expand their professional networks, celebrate personal and career milestones, and continue building the supportive community that has defined the Chester County Futures experience for nearly 30 years.
The Alumni Network initiative is made possible through funding from Pennsylvania’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP), a state tax credit program administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. The NAP program encourages businesses to invest in community development projects that address health disparities, help students transition to successful careers, improve food security, and revitalize communities, by providing tax credits for contributions that support initiatives with measurable community impact. Through this funding, Chester County Futures has been able to lay the foundation for a robust alumni engagement strategy that will serve generations of CCF graduates.
For nearly three decades, Chester County Futures has empowered first-generation and under-resourced students throughout Chester County by providing academic support, college preparation, career exploration opportunities, mentorship, and post-secondary success programming. With the launch of the new Alumni Network comes the program’s fortified ability to expand the opportunities and support it can offer to its students and graduates in high school, college, and in their careers.
“Our alumni are one of our greatest sources of inspiration and impact,” stated Mary Williams, Director of Community Engagement. “They represent the long-term success of our mission and the incredible potential that exists within our community. This initiative is about creating a space where alumni can continue supporting one another, sharing opportunities, and celebrating their achievements while staying connected to each other and to the CCF community as a whole.”
As part of the initiative, the organization recently launched the Chester County Futures Alumni Network on LinkedIn, providing a virtual platform where alumni can connect professionally, share career updates, post job opportunities, celebrate accomplishments, and expand their networks with fellow CCF graduates.
In addition to the online community, Chester County Futures will host its first Alumni Social event this summer, bringing graduates together in person to reconnect, strengthen relationships, and help shape the future of alumni engagement within the organization.
The Alumni Network initiative reflects Chester County Futures’ commitment to supporting students beyond graduation and fostering a lifelong community rooted in encouragement, achievement, and mutual support.
“As our alumni continue to make an impact in their workplaces, communities, and families, we want them to know they will always have a place within the CCF community,” said Katie Duffus, Executive Director of Chester County Futures. “This initiative ensures that the relationships and support systems built during their time in the program can continue to grow and thrive for years to come.”
Alumni interested in joining the Chester County Futures Alumni Network can connect through the organization’s LinkedIn group and are encouraged to participate in upcoming networking and engagement opportunities.
