Chester County Futures Celebrates Graduates and Announces 2026 Rigg Family Scholarship Recipients
Chester County Futures (CCF) proudly celebrated the accomplishments of its graduating seniors at its annual Graduation Celebration recognizing students for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to achieving their post-secondary goals.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the prestigious CCF Rigg Family Scholarship, awarded this year to Bryana Hemric Ramos of CCF’s Oxford cohort and Alexis Green of the Phoenixville cohort.
Made possible through the generosity of Robert and Karen Rigg, the Rigg Family Scholarship provides eligible Chester County Futures graduates with an extraordinary opportunity: an eight-semester, four-year scholarship covering tuition, room, and board at Elizabethtown College. The scholarship is available to students who have successfully completed the Chester County Futures high school program and demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, and determination in pursuing higher education.
“Scholarships like the Rigg Family Scholarship create life-changing opportunities for our students,” said Katie Duffus, Executive Director of Chester County Futures. “Bryana and Alexis exemplify the resilience, dedication, and promise we see in so many of our graduates. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and grateful to Robert and Karen Rigg and Elizabethtown College for investing in their futures.”
Throughout their time in Chester County Futures, both Bryana and Alexis have demonstrated a commitment to personal growth and academic success. Their selection as recipients reflects both their achievements in the classroom and their perseverance and engagement throughout the college preparation process.
The Graduation Celebration brought together students, families, mentors, volunteers, community partners, and supporters to honor the Class of 2026 and the milestones they have achieved. The event served as a reminder of the collective impact that community support, educational opportunities, and mentorship can have on the lives of young people.
Chester County Futures extends its sincere gratitude to Downingtown Country Club for hosting the celebration and to the evening’s scholarship sponsors, including Reliance Matrix, First Resource Bank, WSFS Bank, and Elizabethtown College, whose generosity helps open doors to higher education and future success for CCF students.
For nearly 30 years, Chester County Futures has empowered students to succeed in school and post-secondary life through academic support, college access programming, career exploration, mentorship, and scholarships. The organization continues to help students navigate the path from high school to college, career, and beyond.
